The Mosel river travels through France, Luxembourg and Germany from Trier to Koblenz, where it joins the Rhein on its way to the North Sea. The Mosel river lies in the Eifel valley which is known for its Riesling wines and well preserved castels. With the area so close to home, we found ourselves traveling here quite often.
